Launch of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission Report into Child Trafficking and ICT Facilitated Child Trafficking.

APT was delighted to attend the launch of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission’s Report into Child Trafficking and ICT Facilitated Child Trafficking, represented by both Brian O’ Toole and Brother Kevin Mascarenhas, 23 September 2026.

All agreed it was a most valuable and informative launch, with powerful inputs from Ireland’s Independent Rapporteur Chief Commissioner Liam Herrick, CEO IHREC; Tegwyn Stephenson, Independent Research and Migration consultant, together with Professor Siobhan Mullally and panellists Mr. JP O’ Sullivan, Director, MECPATHS; Detective Superintendent Derek McGuire, Garda National Protective Services Bureau; Dr. Aishling Geraghty, Consultant General Paediatrician, Children’s Health, Ireland; and Mr. Cormac Quinlan, Assistant National Director for Practice, Reform & Change, TUSLA.
