Dr. Sr. Elizabeth Murphy, RSM, & Brian O’ Toole Director, Presentation Inter-Provincial Justice Desk, attending the SDG National Stakeholders’s Forum today, 9 September 2025, together with Paula Lynch from the SDG Unit at the Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment and Claire Glavy, from Global Village. The main topic of today’s Forum is to identify the challenges and progress made since the 2nd National Implementation Plan, devised to try & outline how Ireland can implement the SDGs.
The thinking & results from today’s discussions will inform the implementation of Ireland’s 3rd National Action Plan. Stakeholders will be invited to send in their submissions to be considered in the 3rd National Implementation Plan.
APT are delighted to once again have representation at the Forum, to participate & contribute to discussions. We are particularly glad to be able to ensure the voices of those on the margins & vulnerable to being left behind, are very much heard in the National Implementation Plan. APT – Act to Prevent Trafficking also encourages political will to deliver on the Action Plan, especially having regard for 2030 looming closer. #SDGIRL
