Sr. Eilis Coe R.S.C. spoke to those who gathered at the Famine Stone on Custom House Quay to speak to the experience of those who have been trafficked. Also present were those who gave personal testimony of their lived experience of homelessness, Direct Provision, as an Immigrant, a Traveller or indeed as a Palestinian citizen. Sr. Eilis offered that a victim of Human Trafficking is so traumatised and frightened that there would be no way that they would appear to give personal testimony and so she offered to shed some light on this dark topic that is hidden in plain sight.  You can read more about this event HERE.
